We are thrilled to support Calgary charities
on an
ongoing basis. We know that funding usually goes directly to worthwhile programs and services, not
to
administration.
That's why we donate
a 1/2-day session, once per quarter, to different Calgary
charities. It's like a mini-version of our Total System Training Partner
Solution.
During our sessions, we work with the
administrative staff to help streamline their computer processes -
everything from teaching staff to use their computers better, to
developing forms or spreadsheets, to setting up an email merge system
so they can keep in touch with their donors and volunteers.
Our winners also receive a mention in our monthly e-newsletter, with a link to their website.
When we conceived this program, we originally thought of working with a
few selected groups, but there are so many worthwhile causes that we
just couldn't decide. So each time, we work with a different charity.

Want To Get On Our List?
If you meet the qualifications below, send us your application (all
applications will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy), and
we'll put your name in the draw.
Each month, we'll draw a new charity, and get in touch with the
winner to set up their session.
To Qualify:
Your charity's administrative (or branch) office must be located in Calgary.
Your charity must be a registered charity with the
CRA.
Here's how the Charity Boost works:

When we receive your application, we'll enter it in the
draw.
Please send only one application
- all applications
remain in the draw until selected. We only enter one application
from each charity, so please don't deluge
us with applications from the same charity.

When your name is selected, we'll call you to talk about
your needs, and set up a time for your session. You need to complete your session within a month of winning the draw.

After your session, if (and only if) you're completely
delighted with the work we did, we'll ask you to recognize Bright Ideas
in your donor list(s) and/or newsletter(s), and/or ask
you to participate in media interviews. These are not requirements
- just requests. There are no strings attached!
